KOLKATA: Traffic cops have assured they will extend all help to the PWD and other government agencies so they can complete repairs of Chitpore Railyard Bridge before the Tallah Bridge gets pulled down.
Lalbazar officers said they were yet to get any formal proposal but, given the critical role Chitpore bridge is set to play in the crucial months, “minor changes, especially at night, in traffic flow can be allowed in order to complete the work”.
